Portfolio - Details of Some SkyeGospel Websites

You will find details below of some websites designed by SkyeGospel. As I am still in the early stages, my portfolio of work is still very much in the 'growing stage'. Remember to check back from time to time for any updates.

Wullie's Tours

Wullie's Tours

Wullie's Tours needed a way to make folk aware of their large range of touring options within Skye, Lochalsh, the Scottish Highlands and further afield. Online advertising is the most effective way of reaching customers and Wullie, realising this, asked SkyeGospel to build a simple website to highlight the services they offer.

The site incorporates the additional features of a guestbook and full statistical analysis software.

Misty Isle Boat Trips

Misty Isle Boat Trips

Misty Isle were looking to expand their online presence and attract more passengers through the media of the world wide web. We built them a SkyeGospel site that is attractive, simple and functional. We also helped them develop their online advertising, setting them up with a Google AdWords account and customising the account until it was bringing in increased traffic to their site.

The Misty Isle Boat Trips website was made using the Vantage software, which means that it can be instantly updated with text, photos, news, etc. from any online computer in the world - without any necessary technical ability!

Strath & Sleat Church of Scotland

Strath & Sleat Church of Scotland

The Church of Scotland in the parish of Strath & Sleat, Isle of Skye, were looking for a website which could be regularly updated with news content, weekly intimations and which could host a new sermon every week.

There are further developments planned for the Strath & Sleat website in the coming weeks, including a searchable online listing of the Church's library of Christian books

Gorgie Mission Hall, Edinburgh

Gorgie Mission Hall

Gorgie Mission Hall wanted to let the people of Gorgie who pass the Mission Hall daily know what they are about. They decided that the best way to give people a taster of the church's life and activities to encourage them to come along was to get a website.

The pastor at Gorgie, Jonathan Tink, wanted to be able to update the website any time without having to pay someone else to do it. Like so many, he had no website editing knowledge or experience, and he didn't have access to any of the expensive web-authoring software titles available. He decided to have us build a Vantage website for the Mission Hall. After building the website I spent a couple of hours demonstrating the Vantage online editing interface to Jonathan and that afternoon he was able to take over the maintenance of his own website! Vantage really is as easy as that!

The Faith Mission in Norfolk

The Faith Mission in Norfolk

I was contacted by the Norfolk district workers with The Faith Mission who wanted a website to further inform the churches in their area about their missionary work in the hope of increased opportunities for evangelism. They also wanted a way to frequently update sections of their website without any prior website building experience and thus keep their friends up to date with their work. We set this up for them using Dynaportal software so they can now update their online news instantly, easily, and from anywhere in the world. We have also set up sub-domain websites for them to use for specific outreach events (see for example the Yaxham Outreach website).
